Yard Signs-Brad Rogers for Sheriff 2010

I would love to run a campaign without yard signs. Alas, who wants to risk running a campaign without them? My yard signs are in and ready for distribution. Yard signs typically will not be displayed outdoors until around April 1, 2010. If you would like a yard sign, please let me know through this blog or email me (recommended) at brad@bradrogersforsheriff.com and provide your contact information for delivery.

Serving You

All candidates will have a motto for their campaign. In thinking what my motto would be, I wanted to reflect my heart and desire. I am a public servant, not a politician. To be a great leader you must first be a great servant. 23 years of continuous service at the Sheriff's Department, 2005 recipient of the county's Committment to Service award and responsiveness to the community embodies that I am a public servant. As Sheriff, I will ensure that my staff makes serving you as important as protecting you. I am SERVING YOU.

Why a Sheriff election in 2010?

Some people have asked why all the fuss about a Sheriff's election in 2010? Let me set the stage for you. Mike Books is the current Elkhart County Sheriff. I believe he has been a great Sheriff, with solid vision and leadership. I would never run against him. He is statutorily at his term limits. Thus, there are currently five candidates vying for the Republican primary on May 4, 2010. I am one of those candidates. The May election is very important, as only the winner goes on to the November 2, 2010 general election. I ask you to weigh the candidates on the issues. -Brad
